Fun Filled Arts And Crafts For Your Kids

As a busy parent you would want to keep your kids preoccupied so as not to disturb you while you attend to the family’s domestic affairs and household chores. One way to successfully do that is to let them engage in fun-filled arts and crafts to get their hands full and while the time away.

In between projects they might come to show you their creative art and despite your busy schedule you must pause a moment to appreciate their artistic capabilities and what they have achieved thus far.

Easy Projects For Your Kids

Give them the necessary materials for drawing, sketching, painting and others that they can use and let their hands do their magic.

Here are some easy projects that your kids can do. (It would be much fun if you could spare a moment and join them!)

Painting Projects – Your kids can express their inherent creativity with these two projects:

  • Straw Painting

Your kids, regardless of age, will surely find this art discovery enjoyable. They will need straws, tempera paint and a few pieces of paper. With drops of paint placed onto the paper, they will aim their straw and blow at the paint.

To avoid dizziness, remind them to take a breather.

  • Marble Painting

For this painting project they will need different colors of tempera paint, muffin tins, marbles, paper and painting container.

They will place one color of tempera paint in each muffin tin and then drop several marbles in each tin. They will lay a piece of paper on the bottom of the container, place the marbles inside and roll them from side to side, one color at a time. They will remove the marbles and repeat the process until they are through with all the colors.

They can then cut the paper into any shape they want.

Envelope Art – This easy project can be done within 30 minutes. They will need sealed envelopes, construction paper, crayons, markers and glue. They can draw whiskers, a nose or other features with crayons. Using construction paper, they can cut ears, hair, hat or whatever they want and glue them on the envelope to complete their art idea. They can then use markers to make the highlights of their art.

There are lots of fun-filled arts and crafts that your kids can leisurely spend their precious time on. They get to enjoy and make proud project pieces while you are able to accomplish your tasks without unnecessary distractions from them!
